'Shooter' Stars Visit Miramar

Bob Lee Swagger is back for a third season of "Shooter" on the USA Network and cast members Ryan Phillippe, Omar Epps, Cynthia Addai-Robinson and Shantel VanSanten joined showrunner John Hlavin for the trek down to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, CA on June 20th for a premiere event.

The show airs Thursday nights at 10pm ET/PT and will be available to stream on the USA website and in the network's apps.

TV Guide's Jim Halterman interviewed everyone about working with service men and women while training for the "Shooter" series and how the series has hired veterans to work on the crew and in the writer’s room. Ryan also talked about his work with Hidden Heroes

Season three of "Shooter" is inspired by "Black Light," the second book in novelist Stephen Hunter's Bob Lee Swagger series. As Bob Lee (Phillippe) struggles to put an end to the events of season two, a nemesis reveals mysterious details surrounding his father Earl's death, leading Bob Lee towards a startling conspiracy that hits close to home.
